I love this play! I think it is a really interesting way of exploring a woman's choices of her body and sexuality and relationships. The relationships between Abby and Grant, and Abby and James are so visceral. I am so interested in the complexity of these human beings and their relationships. I love everything I have read from Donna Hoke and I think this recording really captures the complexity of her playwriting. This play delves deep into contemporary ideas of love and relationships and I think it challenges my ideas on what love is and what a relationship is. Even months after I originally listened to this play I still continue to think about it. I cannot recommend this listen highly enough!
